Back at cleaning for day two. I got most of the back yard clean, but I actually ran out of trash bags so I could not finish it. I guess it will have to wait till Day Three.

The back entry way to the basement. There were so many leaves that had been there so long, they started to turn into this great black dirt. If only I had a garden, it would have made great fill. This was also where the mattress was.

All the trash bags waiting for the dumpster.

Yes, I did use and entire box (22 bags) of the 30 gallon hefty bags.

This is the pile of other stuff, wood, metal, pipes, that would not fit in a trash bag. There is a lamp, a kids play thing, a couple of book shelves, some windows, and a mirror at the very least.
I made some interesting finds while digging through this crap including a dead rat and a dead cat.

A great truck.
And finally, I also found a stone slab, a rolly thing, and the kitchen sink!

Ok, so Day One on our house remodeling. The next few days are going to be clean up. As you can see by the few pics I have already uploaded, there is a lot to get ride of.
Remember the back yard? Here are some Day one clean up pictures.

I don't think I got any good pictures of under the front porch, but here are some clean ones.

Here is the bums stuff that I cleaned out of under the porch. Hopefully he will come get them and take the hint.

And lastly, here is a picture of the inside, looking at the whole first floor.

We finally closed on our house. It was a stressful couple of weeks there. We thought we lost it because of our mortgage guy. It is apparently very hard to get a construction loan.
Anyway, here are a couple more pictures of the house. These are of the outside where I need to now clean it up. Yay.

Not a very good picture, but we got wild strawberries growing in our yard :)
